Sterling McIlravy

Hey there! My name is Sterling McIlravy. I am a PGA Associate and lead Teaching Professional at Blue Top Ridge at Riverside in Iowa City, Iowa. I have been teaching here for the last two years, and I am excited to be offering online lessons as an option now! Whether in-person or virtual, I am excited about the opportunity to coach you! As a former Division I golfer and full time playing professional for four years, I have had the privilege of training under some exceptional coaches and mentors. From those experiences I have learned that there are swing mechanics that are important, but also that there are no two players that will move the same. Because of that, I will never coach you into a swing “style.” My goal is to find what you do well, what you can improve on, and give you a clear path to improvement. Improvement plan (2 monthly lessons + chat)

Package includes: 1) two swing assessments per month. 2) Priority response time 3) Chat availability to communicate between lessons and ask questions that come up during your practice sessions. If you want to see real change in your swing and your game, this is a great option for you. With this subscrition you will recieve 2 swing analysis per month (Ideally bi-weekly for the best success) PLUS full chat access. Each lesson will require 1 face on video and 1 down the line of a mid iron. You will recieve a voice over video analysis of your swing, plus a 5-15 minute video of me explaining the drills you will be doing. This will allow us to work on a consistent basis to help you grow your knowledge of your swing and what you need to play your best golf. This option also includes the chat function which will allow you to contact me in between lessons with any questions/feels that you may have!
